Certified by MyGAP, we supply live broiler chickens that are safe to be consumed and meet the international standards for the production of quality livestock including livestock health management programs, biosecurity programs, sanitary programs as well as farm-waste and pollution management programs.

MyGAP is a comprehensive certification scheme for the crop, aquaculture and livestock sectors. MyGAP is implemented based on the Malaysian Standard (MS). Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) is an agricultural practice that addresses environmental, economic, and social aspects in order to ensure healthy and excellent quality products. In order to achieve efficiency, safety, consistency, and healthy processing, GAP is an interconnected framework for handling the hazards associated with the aspects of land, input, processes, and performance of agricultural production.

why mygap certification?

storage records

Storage and production activities should be recorded from plant source information to the market. Product packaging should contain information on the type of plant, name and address of the plant source.

pest control

The spraying of insecticides should be in accordance with the established standards where the fruit that is sprayed can only be sold if the condition of the fruit reaches a period that is safe to eat. Every insecticide must be registered under the Malaysian Pesticide Committee.

employee health

Employee health is a critical matter that should be prioritized. Workers must be trained in good health.

irrigation

Water is the most important thing for plants and also for cleaning planting tools. Therefore the water must be clean and awake.

quality control

Farming chickens for meat is a specialist trade in poultry farming. It came about after World War II. Poultry farmers receive day-old chicks and rear them until they are ready for slaughter. At that point the chickens weigh approximately 2400 grams. Approximately 1700 grams of chicken meat will be left over after slaughter. The production chain is made up of a number of highly specialised links which operate in a carefully matched process. At HARUMi all these stages of production come together as a single unit: an integrated poultry facility.
